Quiet and peaceful winter retreat for the weekend, great for recharging the batteries. Mrs P, Dalkeith, Midlothian 17 February 2011
The cottage is in a sublime and beautiful location, in an outstanding area of natural beauty. We would recommend it to everyone but would actually like to keep it to ourselves! Mrs M, Knaresborough, North Yorkshire 31 October 2010
Superb surroundings, just yards away from a wonderful Robert Adam house, with free access to the beautiful gardens. Mr L, MARKET HARBOROUGH 19 September 2010
A beautiful cottage in the grounds of a stunning house well within reach of many other interesting towns and villages. Accommodation was excellent and the views from walks in the grounds were outstanding. Mrs T, Stonehaven, Kincardineshire 18 July 2010
Immaculate accommodation, in a beautiful setting. Mrs P, LEEDS, West Yorkshire 19 June 2010
We were very impressed with this holiday, the cottage was outstanding and to be in the grounds of Mellerstain House was a wonderful experience, being able to explore the grounds and viewing the beautiful house was faultless. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitley recommend this holiday, very peaceful but not too far away from things. Mrs C, IPSWICH, Suffolk 11 April 2010
It is a wonderful place to take your family and everyone was so pleasant and helpful. We really did enjoy our time here and we will definitely go there again soon!! Mrs D, BRADFORD, West Yorkshire 22 February 2010
What a wonderful place to stay, the location is just perfect and we were blessed to have snow during our stay which made it even more magical. Look forward to returning hopefully sometime later in the year! Mrs S, LOOE, Cornwall 12 January 2010
The cottage is beautifully and tastefully renovated, in very classy surroundings close to the impressive mansion house and gorgeous grounds and formal gardens. For anyone who yearns to relax in quiet and classy surroundings, in the beautiful Scottish borders but within easy reach of the quality shopping, art & culture of Edingburgh this is a perfect location. Ms B, STAMFORD, Lincolnshire 19 September 2009
Very comfortable cottage which is centrally located within the Scottish boarders. All places of interest are 30mins to 1 hour away and the roads are very empty, even in August! Mr A, STEVENAGE, Hertfordshire 11 August 2009
